A new incident involving a rare and expensive Ferrari LaFerrari has left the Italian exotic ride in a pile of carbon fiber, metal, plastic and rubber.
We have already seen in the past year two incidents which have involved the Ferrari LaFerrari but this third one seems to be the worst by far. We’re not exactly sure at this time how the crash occurred but it seems that the driver, who is the teen with weird shoes, has been speeding and hit a wall. Chances are he was texting his father to give him the good news and he doesn’t care less about the expensive ride. The incident took place in China and if you have more info on the topic please feel free to share.
The two-door coupe rear mid-engined and rear-wheel drive hypercar named the Ferrari LaFerrari has seen daylight officially at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This is the first ever hybrid to come to life in Maranello and it is also the most powerful road-legal Ferrari ever. It is considered to be the spiritual successor of the Enzo and it is packing a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, producing 789 HP and 700 Nm of torque, along with an electric motor rated at 161 HP. The total output is 950 HP and 900 Nm of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), it needs less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph). Only 499 units have been produced.
