Proton has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation up to date, this particular pickup truck concept, which has seen daylight officially at the Alami Proton Carnival 2015.
The pickup truck segment is going to be expanded with the addition of some new vehicles. Mercedes-Benz is saying that it will be introducing its very own variant, Renault is currently teasing us with such a model and now Proton is making a step forward as well, with the introduction of the new pickup truck concept. The model in question is a one-off and it has been officially presented to the public, for the very first time, at the Alami Proton Carnival 2015, with its bold and appealing look.
The vehicle has a bold front fascia, with extremely slender headlights with the LED technology in them, the LED turning lights, a weird front grille which is stretched from underneath the taillights with a pastic part in the middle using the company’s badge onto it, the small fog lamps, the plastic body cladding, the muscular hood and the sleek side profile. The same lines are being maintained in the rear as well, where we can see the small taillights with the LED technology and the company’s name on the large tailgate. The model is currently riding on what seem to be mud / terrain tires and it is bringing rear privacy glass. Unfortunately we don’t have any images with its interior design at this point and we don’t even know what is found under its hood but don’t act too surprised if you will see it in a Proton dealership over the next few months.
