A very rare Porsche 918 Spyder, finished in Riviera Blue, has been spotted recently as this is a the private collection in Nebraska.
Over the last couple of years, we have seen some wild paint jobs of the Porsche 918 Spyder and while most have been better than others, time has come to talk about this Riviera Blue-finished model. The hypercar is not unique as several units will be offered with this shade and it is currently sitting in a private collection of the owner of Woodhouse Porsche in Omaha, Nebraska. You can take a closer look to it in the small photo gallery posted above.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid hypercar signed by the German based automaker and introduced, in its final version, back in 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. Only 918 units of the model will be put together and all of them have been sold out. It is offered in a two-door roadster body style and it has a mid-engined and all-wheel drive layout, unlike its two main rivals, the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1, which have a coupe body style and rear-wheel drive.
Power is provided by the 4.6 liter V8 engine, with 608 HP (453 kW) and 528 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque, backed p by two electric motors, producing an extra 279 HP (208 kW). The total output generated is 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h (210 mph).Prices for the hypercar were set at just below 900,000 USD.
