Hyundai is getting ready for the 2015 SEMA Motor Show with this rugged looking Tucson.
An off-road focused Hyundai Tucson has been announced by the South Korean based automaker and Rockstar Performance Garage as this will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 SEMA Motor Show, in less than a month. The vehicle in question is coming with an aggressive looking exterior design, with the off-road suspension system with adjustable shocks and struts which can increase the ride height by up to 6 inches and several other goodies.
“The focus behind this build was to create an off-roader that nobody expected,” said Nic Ashby, owner and general partner, Rockstar Performance Garage. “The Tucson was a great starting platform with its rigid frame and plenty of room in the engine bay for modifications. With the complete suspension overhaul and blacked-out appearance, this Tucson is guaranteed to be a head turner in line with the Rockstar lifestyle.”
Besides the above mentioned features, this particular example of the Hyundai Tucson is also coming with the tinted windows and the new design for the wheels which are said to accommodate the 32-inch Mickey Thompson MTZ P3 tires. The rims are 17-inch in size and they are the KMC XD Series Bully. Under the hood, the crossover is making use of a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, with a Magnaflow exhaust system, a custom air intake and other upgrades. No performance specifications have been announced so far. The model will be unveiled on the 3rd of November.
