The one-off Porsche 918 Spyder currently owned by Ferdinand Piech has been caught on camera recently.
It may have been only two weeks since Ferdinand Piech has resigned from the Volkswagen Group as a chairman but it seems that this isn’t stopping him to take a ride in his personal one-off Porsche 918 Spyder. The model in question is getting the unique color with a black body and orange accents on the side skirts, on the front diffuser and on the wheels, and it seems to have a fixed roof instead of the detachable hardtop. Pieche is known for his passion in exotic rides and it is said that he also owns two examples of the Bugatti Veyron.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is the most impressive vehicle to ever have been put together by the German based automaker. The model has been produced in just 918 units between 2013 and 2015 and it has been completely sold out. The hypercar has been shown a couple of years ago, at the Frankfurt automotive event, and it is rivaling models such as the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari. The Porsche 918 Spyder has a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, backed up by two electric motors. The total output produced by this assembly is 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), it needs just 2.5s and top speed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph).
