The 2017 Ford GT has been subjected to new renderings once more which are showing us how the newest Detroit supercar may look like in a Targa body style.
If you happen to be a fan of the Ford GT and you cannot wait until the new one will be ready for order, than we might just have found your future background images. The two photos posted below are nothing more than simple renderings, which have been put together by Theophilus Chin and they might provide us with a first look into how the supercar may look like in yet another body style, that of a Targa. Let’s not forget either that appealing red shade in which it has been finished.
The 2017 Ford GT is expected to hit the production line by the end of 2016, which will make it a 2017 model year. The supercar in question should carry a price tag of approximately 200,000 USD and in terms of design it is evolutionary, with new and sharp angles which are still making it instantly recognizable. The vehicle has a mid-mounted turbo V6 engine which is capable of producing a total output of 600 HP (447 kW). Power is sent to the rear-wheel drive through the 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Unfortunately no performance details on the newest supercar to come out of Detroit have been released yet but these will probably be released close to the model’s production date.
