Another rendering with the upcoming Ferrari 488 GTS is offering us yet another glimpse into the future supercar.
Ever since Ferrari has pulled the wraps off the brand new 488 GTB earlier this year, the main question asked was related to its roadster version, the so-called 488 GTS. The model in question is said to make its public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September, and if this will happen, Ferrari will step ahead of Lamborghini once again, since the “raging bull” isn’t yet offering a convertible variant of the Huracan. Let’s not forget that the Asterion hybrid supercar doesn’t have a production version yet, so this is strike too for Lamborghini.
The image posted above is showing us how the new Ferrari 488 GTS may look like. The model is expected to get a solid folding roof and in this case it is wearing an appealing black shade and coming with the silver finished wheels. The bonnet has been modified to match the new design too and changes have stopped here, in this case. Once it will be hitting the market, the 488 GTS will make use of the same 3.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine as the 488 GTB. This is producing a total output of 661 HP (493 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque, available at 3,000 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 3.0 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (210 mph). The 488 GTB is the facelifted version of the 458 Italia.
