The first image with the Ferrari LaFerrari owned by Lewis Hamilton has just hit the web.
Instagram user Adam Bornstein has shared an image with a Ferrari LaFerrari which is supposedly the one owned by Lewis Hamilton and, since he is Jewish, he probably knows what he is talking about. Jokes aside, this is the first time when we get to see exactly how the F1 driver’s hypercar is looking and we have to admit that it is simply brilliant with the red finish covering its body, the black diffuser and side skirts and the glossy black wheels with a 5-spoke design, covering the red brake calipers.
The Ferrari LaFerrari has a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, with 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). This is also getting an electric motor (HY-KERS) with an extra 161 HP (120 kW). The total output sent to the rear wheels, through the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the hypercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The Ferrari LaFerrari has been first shown, in its final production form, at the Geneva Motor Show, back in 2013. This is the spiritual successor of the Enzo and it is taking aim at the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The LaFerrari is the most powerful road-legal supercar born in Maranello and also the company’s first ever hybrid.
