And it may very well be the rarest example of the supercar out there.
If you think that owning a McLaren 650S is everything that you need in order to stand out, think again, because there will always be a hotter version of the supercar which will ruin your day. This particular example is unique and it is bringing the ultra lightweight wheels, the carbon fiber side blades and diffuser, the snorkel roof scoop, the special badges and several other goodies. According to CarBuzz, this will be offered in just 10 examples across the United States and it has been ordered by an anonymous collector.
The McLaren 650S is an updated version of the MP4-12C and it has been officially unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The supercar is being offered in two body styles, a two-door coupe and a two-door roadster, both of them getting the rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. It is sharing a lot of components with its predecessor but the British based brand has also added some goodies from the P1. Under its hood, the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine can be found, rated at 641 HP (478 kW) and 680 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque in this case, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. This configuration is allowing the supercar to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
