The 2015 Subaru Forester has recently received a number of changes and it will go on sale across the United Kingdom starting from the 1st of April.

In case you have been wondering why Subaru isn’t doing anything with the Forester, that question is useless now because the Japanese based automaker has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 model year. The vehicle in question isn’t a new generation and it isn’t even a facelifted variant but since it has received a series of changes, it should become more popular than the previous versions.

“Subaru UK has announced details of the 2015 model-year update to its best-selling Forester SUV, which features a raft of changes to its interior and powertrain and enhances the go-anywhere capabilities of the Forester range”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The 2015 Subaru Forester has received features such as the additional sound deadening material, the 7-inch display for the standard infotainment system on the XC variant, on the AC Premium and on the XT, the piano black accents, the additional USB input or the revised climate controls. The updated version of the model is also packing a 2.0 liter diesel engine, which is connected to a Lineatronic CVT and the all-wheel drive system. thanks to this setup, the Forester can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.6 seconds and burn 6.1L / 100km (46.3 mpg UK / 38.5 mpg US), while emitting 158 g/km of CO2. More details on the vehicle, including its price list, are limited at this time.
