The front fascia of the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander has been revealed in a spy photo which ended up on the web recently.
The first image with the front fascia of the “new” Mitsubishi Outlander has ended up on the web and it is showing us its looks for the first time, ahead of its public debut which will take place in early April, during the 2015 New York Auto Show. The 2016 Outlander is bringing more chromed details than its predecessor, there are headlights with new graphics, a redesigned radiator grille and a new diffuser for the lower part of the bumper. Chances are the rear end will get a similar treatment too and we expect more chrome on its body and in the cabin too.
The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander will be “more than a facelift” as the inautonews.com team has learned speaking to a company representative. The model in question is offering a preview of the new design language and it is coming with “countless engineering improvements”. If you were hoping for more details on the facelifted version, you will be in for a surprise because these things are well guarder, for the moment at least. We will remind you that the current Outlander has been in production since 2012 and it is currently riding on the GS platform and assembled in Japan and Russia. The engine lineup includes the 2.0L I4, the 2.4L I4 and the 2.2L TD, along with a 3.0L V6 in the U.S., but this may be upgraded too with the facelift. The model will be unveiled on the 2nd of April, at the 2015 New York Auto Show.
