Kia has release the first image with the new generation of the Optima which is revealing the model’s design.
After it has been teased just a week ago, the 2016 Kia Optima is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of its new released image, which is revealing its design for the first time ever. The vehicle has received an evolutionary styling and many similarities can be seen in it and in the SPORTSPACE Concept. The model is getting a tiger nose grille, front bumper gills, some chrome effects, a sculpted hood, new large alloy wheels to complete the looks and so on.
The interior design of the 2016 Kia Optima is updated too and here we can find a roomier cabin, with better quality materials and a lot of technologies which cannot be found on its predecessor. The new Kia Optima generation will first be offered in a sedan body style and it will be joined by a wagon version in the near future. Rumor has it that the engine lineup for the two variants will include the 1.6 liter turbocharged gasoline burner, the 2.4 liter naturally aspirated unit and the 2.0 liter turbo, in the U.S.-spec. On the Old Continent, the Optima should get the 1.7 liter CRDi, which has been updated, on the diesel-electric variant. The 2016 Kia Optima will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 New York Auto Show, on the 1st of April, in a premiere.
