The production version of the fuel cell vehicle has been officially unveiled by Honda as it will be making its public debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
The new Honda FCV, in its final production form, has been officially unveiled over the web at the moment, as it will be debuting in Tokyo later on this year. The model in question has a weird design which is said to be extremely aerodynamic but also very unattractive. The vehicle has received a distinctive front fascia, the honeycomb mesh grille inserts, the LED headlights, LED DRLs, the vented front fenders, contrasting black roof and partially covered rear wheels.
The brand new Honda fuel cell vehicle isn’t forgetting its interior design either as this is featuring an upscale styling and a modern design, as the carmaker is stating. Some of the goodies which are worth mentioning here include the metallic accents, the wood trim, the leather seats, the three-spoke steering wheel, the floating infotainment system and several other tweaks. The interior design of the vehicle is said to seat up to five adults comfortably. If you came here hoping to find out some of the performance specs of the new Honda FCV you will be disappointed because the carmaker isn’t letting us know them yet but we can tell you that its fuel-cell powertrain can provide it with a total range of more than 700 km (435 miles). Additional details on the car are limited at this time and will be announced during the Japanese automotive event.
