The new Volkswagen Caravelle Generation Six Special Edition has been officially unveiled by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
The model in question has been designed in order to celebrate the T1 and it’s bringing the retro two-tone red and white paint covering its body, along with the classic finish 18-inch DISC alloy wheels, borrowed from the Beetle. The model in question is also packing the Generation Six badging on the B pillar, along with the chrome detailing on the front grille, the electrically adjustable heated folding side mirrors, LED lighting units, front fog lights with cornering function and more.
Standard equipment includes the Titanium Black and Moonrock floor mats, the Alcantara and leather upholstery, the leather wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, three-zone climate control, special brushed metal trim, sat-nav, DAB, front and rear parking sensors, Automatic Post-Collision Braking and others. VW says that the new Caravelle Generation Six Special Edition can only be had with the 2.0 liter TDI BlueMotion engine, which is meeting the Euro 6 emission standards. This has either 150 HP (110 kW) or 2014 HP (150 kW). Prices for the model start from 52,051 GBP and order books have been opened already in the UK market.
