And it is based, of course, on the previous generation of the midsize model.
Volkswagen may have no current plans of offering a new generation of the CC, based on the most recent Passat, but it is not leaving the outgoing model fade out either. And what better way to do so than by introducing a new special edition of the four-door coupe? This has been called the Volkswagen CC Dynamic Black and it is looking more aggressive than the standard one, being easily recognizable thanks to its modifications made to the exterior design.
“The new Volkswagen CC “Dynamic Black” is suitable for name marked by the color black, and is characterized by exclusive design features. Compared to the standard, the special model offers a price advantage of 3,700 euros”, says the carmaker in the press release.
The new Volkswagen CC Dynamic Black has a black finish for its body, along with the 18-inch Talladega style alloy wheels and the xenon headlights. We should also mention the R-Line package, which is adding a sportier front bumper and the new fog lights. Changes made to the cabin are limited but they do include the black headliner, the Art Grey contrast stitching and the Nappa leather seats. The model is also getting the GPS navigation system and the infotainment system, amongst others. Power to the special edition of the four-door coupe is being provided by a 150 HP (110 kW) 1.4 liter TSI petrol burner, or by the 2.0 liter TDI diesel, coming in two outputs, with 150 HP (110 kW) and 184 HP (135 kW). Prices for the car start from 38,200 EUR and order books have been opened.
