This is what the new BMW 3-Series M Sport Package looks like image

The new generation of the BMW 3-Series is finally here and after some official details about the vehicle ended up on the internet and the Facebook launch didn’t bring so many new things, the German based automaker decided it’s time to show us what the new M Sport Package looks like, but the 335i will remain the most powerful “trim level” until the real new M3 arrives.

As you can see from the images, the 2012 3-Series M Sport Package has an aggressive front and rear fascia and it’s probably sitting on the same rims which will be available for the new M3. The M Sport Package on the 3-Series is joined this year by the Sport Line, Luxury Line and Modern Line, which will have to be enough until the real thing will finally be here.

As a reminder, the new generation of the 3-Series is powered by a 2.0 liter TwinPower four-cylinder engine in the 328i, which is developing 240 horsepower at 5.000 rpm and 260 lb-ft of torque between 1.250 and 4.800 rpm. For the 335i, the most powerful version of the 2012 3-Series, power comes from the same N55 3.0 liter six-cylinder TwinPower engine which is delivering 300 horsepower and a maximum 300 lb-ft of torque, being able to hit a top speed of 130 mph or even 155 mph with the Sport Line package.
