Another example of the rare Porsche Carrera GT is being offered for sale, this time in the United States.
Ferrari Maserati of Newport beach is offering a gorgeous red-finished Porsche Carrera GT so this may be your chance of adding one to your collection, that is if you are willing to pay the price: 1.195m USD. This particular mid-engined supercar has covered just 765 miles in its entire lifetime so it can be considered brand new. It has a red shade covering its body, yellow brake calipers, the 5-spoke silver-finished wheels, the red and blue center locks and a black interior, with leather bucket seats and wooden gear knob.
The Porsche Carrera GT has been produced in just 1,270 units. The supercar was put together in Leipzig, Germany, between 2004 and 2007, and was offered in a two-door coupe body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The exotic model stands at 4,613 mm long, 1,921 mm wide and 1,166 mm tall, with a curb weight of 1,380 kg. Engineers have fitted it with a 5.7 liter V10 DOHC engine, connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. The total output produced stands at 612 HP (456 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque, available at 5,800 rpm. The Porsche Carrera GT needs just under 4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
