This particular BMW i8, which has been tuned by Turner Motorsports, is currently being offered for sale.
Looking to buy a “green” vehicle on the second hand market can turn out to be a bad decision, but when the particular model is a BMW i8, which has travelled for less than 6,000 miles in its entire life, it may be exactly what the doctor has ordered, especially since we are talking about a sports car. The model in question has been given a fresh design touch by Turner Motorsports and it is now bringing the appealing yellow shade covering its body, along with some deep blue accents noticeable on the wheels, on the front kidney grille and so on.
Besides getting a new fresh touch, the wheels have been modified also and these are now the Forgeline AR1 Monoblocks. Modifications haven’t stopped here because the H&R Sport Springs have been added too, along with the genuine BMW front upper A-arm camber and the titanium exhaust which is half the weight of a standard one. The model in question has travelled for just 5,600 miles (9,000 km) in its entire life and it has an asking price of 145,000 USD. The BMW i8 has shown a couple of years ago, in its final production form, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The plug-in hybrid sports car has a two-door coupe body style and it is making use of a 1.5 liter turbo gasoline burner, backed up by an electric motor and a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery. The total output sent to the wheels stands at 357 HP (266 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque.
