The new generation of the BMW X6 has been rendered in yet another body style, which is cutting down its two rear doors, making it look even sportier.
BMW has officially unveiled the new generation of the X6 last week and, in the mean time, we have already seen a rendering showing it in a convertible body style. But this new image is showing it in a whole new form, which, over the next few years, may materialize, considering the fact that the SUV, or better said SAV, segment is increasing. The photo in question is showing the 2015 BMW X6 in a three-door body style and it has been created by X-Tomi Design.
Compared to the current version of the X6, the new one is 32 mm longer, 6 mm wider and 33 mm taller, with the wheelbase remaining unchanged, at 2,933. This means increased rear legroom and increased luggage space by 10 liters to 580 liters or even 1,525 liters with the rear seats folded in a 40:20:40 configuration. The new generation of the X6 will be offered in three trim levels and the entry-level will be getting a 255 HP 3.0L diesel engine, in the xDrive30d, being followed by the M50d with its tri-turbo 376 HP 3.0L inline six and by the top of the line xDrive50i, with 443 HP.
