A rendering with a three-door version of the new Nissan Qashqai generation has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into what may become a new body style of the model.
The new generation of the Nissan Qashqai has been officially unveiled just a week ago and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of a rendering. The image posted above represents a three-door body style of the 2014 Nissan Qashqai and, even if the carmaker didn’t announce such a model, don’t act too surprised if you will see it eventually in showrooms.
The 2014 Nissan Qashqai has been completely redesigned and it has received a new cabin, with more premium materials and a 7-inch touch screen display for the NissanConnect infotainment system, internet and more. As far as the engine lineup goes, the cheapest version of the new Qashqai will get a 1.2 liter DIG-T under its hood, with 115 HP (85 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft). There will also be a 1.6 liter DIG-T, with 150 HP (110 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). Diesel lovers can get the 1.5 dCi, with 110 HP (81 kW) or the 1.6 dCi, with its 130 HP (96 kW).
