Toyota Motorsport GmbH has recently released the very first details and images with the Sports 650 Concept, ahead of its Essen Motor Show debut.
After it leaked a few weeks ago, the TMG Sports 650 Concept is ending up in our news once again, this time in an official manner, with the Japanese based automaker releasing the very first images and details with the model, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2012 Essen Motor Show. According to the car manufacturer, the TMG Sports 650 Concept is actually based on the pre-facelift Lexus LS and the model is coming with an aggressive body kit, highlighted by the ventilated hood, revised grille and new front bumper.
Besides the features mentioned above, the TMG Sports 650 Concept is also getting a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, new carbon fiber side skirts and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Power to the TMG Sports 650 Concept is being provided by a 5.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 650 HP (478 kW) and 710 Nm of torque (524 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which is allowing the sedan to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 320 km/h. Additional details on the model will be announced during the 2012 Essen Motor Show.
