Nissan has brought the new GT-R Nismo to the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, where the powerful sports car has made its public debut.
After it has been officially unveiled just a few days ago, the brand new Nissan GT-R Nismo is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the model making its public debut during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The Nissan GT-R Nismo has received bespoke Bilstein dampers, new springs, specially developed Dunlop tires, a rear anti-roll bar, an aero kit on its body, GT500 racecar derived 6-spoke black alloy wheels and some other tweaks, including the special paint finishes, to help it stand out from a crowd.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo is taking its power from a revised version of the 3.8 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which has received an improved fuel pump, optimized ignition timing of all cylinders and a larger turbocharger. Thanks to these modifications, the engine of the Nissan GT-R Nismo can now produce a total output of 600 HP (441 kW) and 652 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque. This is the fastest ever GT-R to lap the Nurburgring, and the time achieved stands at 7 minutes and 8 seconds. The Nissan GT-R Nismo will hit Japanese dealerships in February and Europe and the United States several months later.
