Tokyo Motor Show: Subaru WRX STI S207 Limited Edition image

A limited edition of the Subaru WRX STI, called the S207, has been officially introduced at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The model in question will become available in just 400 units and it will be sold exclusively in Japan. It’s bringing goodies which include the upgraded Brembo braking system, the quicker steering-gear ratio, fine tuned Active Torque and Vehicle Dynamics Control, 19-inch BBS black forged alloy wheels STI-designed and wrapped in 255/35 tires, dry carbon spoiler which is exclusive to it and several other goodies.

The new Subaru WRX STI S207 Limited Edition is also packing the Bilstein front strut, rear dampers and coil springs, the larger front under-spoiler, the new mesh front grille, new rear bumper, metallic side sill moldings, Recaro heated front bucket seats with heating, which have been revised, in the cabin, a different instrument panel, engine switch button and so on. Customers will be able to order this specific model in the WR Blue Pearl, in the Crystal White Pearl or the Crystal Black Silica finishes.

Subaru is also saying that 100 units will be reserved with the NBR Challenge Package Yellow Edition in Sunrise yellow, which will add the black side sill moldings, black mirror caps and yellow side sill plates with the S207 logo on them. Under its hood, the special edition of the WRX STI is using the revised 2.0l turbo boxer engine, which is now rated at 328 HP (241 kW) at 7,200 rpm and 431 Nm (318 lb-ft) of torque, available between 3,200 and 4,800 rpm.
