Tokyo Motor Show: Suzuki Alto Works image

Suzuki has officially pulled the wraps off the Alto Works, in a premiere, during the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The newest model to be signed by Suzuki is called the Alto Works and it’s nothing more than a sporty version of the city car. The urban cruiser has been officially presented to the public during the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, in a premiere, and it’s bringing a full body kit, on its exterior, helping it stand out from the regular versions of the car by adding the new front and rear bumpers, the new side sills, the blackened projector headlights and the multi-spoke alloy wheels, finished in black, covering the red brake calipers.

The brand new Suzuki Alto Works isn’t ignoring its interior design either as this has received the black sports Recaro seats with the contrast red stitching, an updated instrument cluster and the leather wrapped steering wheel, amongst others. The most important part of the city car is found under its hood where the 666 cc petrol turbocharged three-cylinder engine is resting. This is capable of putting down a total output of 51 HP (38 kW) and a peak torque of 63 Nm (47 lb-ft), sending power to the front-wheel drive through a 5-speed transmission. No more details on the model are being known so far and chances are they will be released over the next few months.
