Tom Cruise Denies New York Car Chase report image

New York Daily News reports that Tom Cruise was chase across New York City on Wednesday morning, with Cruise’s driver breaking speed limits and blowing through red lights.

The chase, which lasted 20 minutes, included ten cars full of paparazzi, plus six stragglers on bikes, all of whom also ran the red lights.

However, Tom Cruise’s reps are denying reports.

“It’s false. Never happened,” Cruise’s publicist Amanda Lundberg said in an email.

Police say they received zero calls that the Hollywood star caused any “near accidents” as was reported.
The Daily News had claimed that the chase “began when Cruise and his daughter left their Tribeca hotel and ended at the heliport where he and Suri were photographed boarding a chopper headed to New Jersey”.
