Top Gear filming US road trip with LFA, Vanquish and SRT Viper image

The three Top Gear UK presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are currently in the United States where they are filming a road trip with three new supercars.

After we have announced a couple of months ago that the Top Gear Special for Season 19 will be a Pan European Race, we are now writing about a road trip in the United States taken by the three presenters in three of the hottest supercars of the moment, the Lexus LFA, the Aston Martin Vanquish and the SRT Viper. The image posted above, showing the three supercars in question, has been posted by Jeremy Clarkson on his official Twitter account.

As a quick reminder, the Aston Martin Vanquish has been revealed earlier this year and the British supercar is coming with a 6.0 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output of 565 BHP and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 295 km/h (183 mph). The Vanquish can be bought from 189,995 GBP.

The Lexus LFA is coming in two body styles, two-door roadster and two-door coupe and the model is 4,505 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,220 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm and a total weight of 1,480 kg. 500 units of the Lexus LFA have been produced and the model was assembled in Motomachi, Toyota City, Japan. The 2013 SRT Viper is coming with an 8.4 liter V10 engine, producing 640 HP and 600 lb-ft of torque. The model is Chrysler’s most expensive product, going on sale from 97,395 USD.
