The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante has been officially presented to the public, during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, in a local premiere.
After it was officially unveiled back in March, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and then brought to the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, two months later, the Touring Superleggera Disco Volante is ending up in our news once again, this time with its U.S. premiere. The model in question has been unveiled, over the past weekend, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where it managed to attract a lot of curious eyes.
If the Touring Superleggera Disco Volante looks familiar to you, you should know that this impressive sports car is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C. the model is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 front-central mounted engine, which is producing a total output of 450 HP and 480 Nm of torque, available at 4,750 rpm. The unit is mated to an electroactuaded six-speed sequential transmission, which is helping it sprint from 0 to 10 km/h in just over 4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 292 km/h.
