Toyota has operated a minor facelift for its compact model, the Auris, as the public debut of the car will be made at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next week.
Toyota is getting ready for the 2015th edition of the Geneva Motor Show an one of the debuts made will be the Auris, which has recently received a facelift for the 2016 model year. The vehicle in question is getting some subtle cosmetic tweaks which can be seen in the front grille and despite not shown in the images posted below, the rear end of the car is also expected to be slightly updated, with probably some new graphics for the taillights and a redesigned rear bumper.
“Toyota will reveal its new Auris at the Geneva motor show (3 – 15 March), the British-built hatchback and Touring Sports wagon versions making their debut alongside new Avensis. New Auris enjoys a refreshed design that adds presence and prestige, together with an upgraded cabin and new comfort and safety equipment features”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The cabin of the 2016 Toyota Auris seems to be rather conservative but we can still notice the glossy black accents on the dashboard, the repositioned clock, the larger touch screen display, the different design for the air vents and several other tweaks. More details on the modified Toyota Auris are limited for the moment and will most likely be announced at the Swiss automotive event, on the 3rd of March, when the model will be officially presented to the public.
