Toyota has released new official details and images with the Auris Touring Sports, ahead of the model’s official debut, scheduled to appear during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next month.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the new Toyota Auris Touring Sports has been inspired, on the front fascia, by its hatchback brother, while in the rear end we can find a new bumper and a redesigned tailgate. The model is also coming with a roof mounted spoiler, with roof chromed bars and with some other tweaks, including the Skyview panoramic roof, measuring 1,563 mm long and 960 mm wide.
The changes mentioned above should make the Toyota Auris Touring Sports more attractive in the eyes of its future customers. The Toyota Auris Touring Sports has a 285 mm longer wheelbase, to a total of 2,600 mm, and the boot capacity stands at 530 liters or 1,658 liters with the rear seats folded. Toyota hopes that the new Auris variant will help the company overcome the 5 percent market share by 2014. Additional details on the Toyota Auris Touring Sports are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in March, where the model will be officially unveiled.
