The Indian division of Toyota has announced the launch of the Camry Hybrid locally, where the model will set you back for Rs. 29.75 lakhs.
The brand new Toyota Camry Hybrid is now available for order in India, where the cheapest version of the model has been priced from Rs. 29.75 lakhs. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question is assembled at the TKM’s second plant in Bidadi, near Bengaluru, and this makes India the ninth country which is manufacturing Toyota hybrid cars.
The Toyota Camry Hybrid is available, in India, with a choice of four exterior colors, the White Pearl Crystal Shine, the Grey Metallic, the Silver Metallic and the Attitude Black. Some of the features found on the car include the four airbags, ABS, VSC, traction control, power steering adjustments with memory, Hill Start Assist, powered driver’s seat, acoustic glass, LED headlights, three-zone air conditioning, rear arm rest with controls for the power recline, power sunshade for the rear windows and more.
Power to the car is being provided by a 2.5 liter petrol engine, backed up by an electric motor with Hybrid Synergy Drive. The total output produced by the powertrain stands at 205 PS and this is being sent to the wheels through a CVT. The average fuel economy stands at 19.16 kpl and the CO2 emissions stop at 122.8 g/km.
