Toyota has announced a new special edition which is available for the Corolla and the Camry, as these will be introduced at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, next month.
After announcing the 2016 Avalon for Chicago, Toyota is now telling us about two special editions of the Corolla and Camry, which will be officially introduced during the same automotive event. The Corolla Special Edition has been based on the S Plus trim and it is coming with 17-inch glossy black wheels, with red accents on the dashboard and door trim, red stitching, Smart Key System, push button start, Entune Premium Audio system, power tilt/slide moonroof, Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White finishes for the body. Only 8,000 units of the model will be put together, between August and December.
The Toyota Camry Special Edition will be created between August and January in 12,000 units and will be taking its power from the 2.5 liter four-cylinder unit, with 178 HP and 170 lb-ft of torque, connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The model will be getting the 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, smoked taillights, Blue Streak Metallic or Blizzard Pearl finishes, special floor mats, black SofTex bolsters and blue patterned inserts for the sprot seats, contrast blue stitching, Entune Audio System, Smart Key with push button start, sport meter cluster, Qi Wireless Charging and several other goodies. More details on the two special editions will be announced on the 12th of February, during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
