Toyota has recently announced the official price list for the 2014 Corolla Sedan in Australia, where the model in question has arrived 18 months after its hatchback body style.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Toyota Corolla Sedan is now available from 20,740 AUD, which basically means a 250 AUD price drop over the existing model range and a 750 AUD premium over the hatchback variant. The model in question is available in three trim levels, the Ascent, the SX and the ZR, with the mid-range being priced at 22,990 AUD and the top of the line at 30,990 AUD.
All versions of the new Toyota Corolla Sedan are getting standard features such as the seven airbags, the rear parking sensors and the rearview camera, amongst others. As far as the engine goes, a single unit is available for the model, which is coming as the 1.8 liter four-cylinder, producing a total output of 103 kW and 173 Nm of torque. The Ascent and the SX are getting the six-speed manual transmission as standard while the ZR is coming with a CVT. The CVT is available for the Ascent and SX for an extra 2,250 AUD. The average fuel consumption stands at 6.6L / 100km for the auto and 7.0L / 100 km for the manual.
