Our spy photographers have managed to capture the new Toyota Cross Auris on camera for the second time as this was being tested out on public roads.
Just a few weeks ago we have provided you with the in a small resolution, and now time has come to meet the model in question once more, in new spy photos. The images in question seem to reveal nothing more than a camouflaged Auris and this is true, because the model is based on the standard one, but in a close inspection, we can see some significant upgrades.
Some of them are the taller ride height, compared to the regular Auris, the new rear bumper, the front one and several other tweaks. Despite the Cross Auris name hasn’t been confirmed yet, chances are that the model in question will be known like this, considering the fact that the company doesn’t have an Allroad, an Alltrack or an XC range just yet. The engine lineup is expected to be carried over from the regular Auris and this will include the 1.3 liter and the 1.4 liter units. All-wheel drive is said not to be offered. More details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
