Toyota has released new details and images with the 2013 Auris Touring Sports, which is actually the first wagon version of the Auris ever.
The brand new 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports is riding on a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, which is 285 mm longer than the one of the hatchback, and the additional length is being added to the load space, providing a total capacity of 530 liters with the rear seats up and 1,658 liters with the rear seats folded. The load are is 1,115 mm long and 1,452 mm wide with the seats up and 2,047 mm long with the rear seats down.
The 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports is adding features like the 12v socket in the boot, the one-touch easy flat folding rear seats, shopping bag hooks, luggage net and others. The engine lineup which will become available for the 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports will be carried over from the hatchback and this means that we can see the 1.33 liter Dual VVT-i, the 1.6L Valvematic and the 1.4 liter D-4D diesel. A hybrid version, using a 1.8L VVT-i and an electric motor will be added later on. This will provide 136 HP (100 kW), enough to allow the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 10.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph).
