The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently previewed the facelifted version of the Estima MPV in Malaysia.
According to the car manufacturer, the facelifted Toyota Estima, which is wearing the 2012 model year in its name, is now coming with a new aggressive look thanks to the redesigned front grille and angular detailing on the front bumper. The rear end of the vehicle hasn’t been changed too much but even so, the Toyota Estima doesn’t have that boxy shape of a regular MPV and it seems like the right choice when it comes to driving your family around. The interior design of the minivan has also been improved, according to the company, and a total of six revised exterior colors are now available for it, along with new alloy wheel designs.
Under the hood, the 2012 Toyota Estima facelift is still offering the same engines, which means that the 2.4 liter four-cylinder 2AZ-FE is still developing a total output of 170 PS and 224 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT transmission, and the larger 3.5 liter V6 unit is generating 280 PS and 344 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic. More details on the Toyota Estima facelift will be announced later this year, close to the model’s launch.
