The new Toyota FCV Plus Concept is going to be making its public debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, in a premiere.
Another concept car with the Toyota badges covering its body is going to be shown at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The model in question has been called the FCV Plus and it also has a futuristic design which is reminding us of the Jetsons more than a road-going vehicle.
“The exterior adopts a distinctive, sleek shape, while the frame structure of the interior ensures rigidity despite the light weight of the car. Altogether, the design conveys the vehicle’s advanced technology and outstanding environmental performance”, says the automaker in its press release.
The new Toyota FCV Plus Concept stands at 3,800 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width and 1,540 mm in height, riding on a 3,000 mm wheelbase. The size of the wheelbase is extremely impressive considering the full length of the car. The interior is lacking the conventional dashboard and this is only bringing a head-up display. The one-off model has the four in-wheel motors while the fuel cell stack has been positioned between the front wheels, working together with a hydrogen tank installed behind the rear seats. Unfortunately Toyota didn’t have more to say about this futuristic looking concept but additional details will be announced at the Japanese automotive event. Meanwhile, you can take a closer look at it in the images posted below.
