The Japanese based automaker Toyota has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new FCV Rally Car, which will be competing in the local Rally Championship, as the company is stating.
Toyota’s newest creation has been called the FCV Rally Car and this is basically a racer which will be competing in the Japanese Rally Championship, coming with some interesting features which should improve the way it feels and also the way it looks.
“A Toyota fuel cell vehicle (FCV) will be put through its paces in the final installment in this year’s Japanese Rally Championship: the 285 km Shinshiro Rally, held in Aichi Prefecture on November 1 and 2. Before the race starts, the FCV, specially tuned and outfitted for rally racing (as pictured below), will check the safety of the roads as a zero car?while emitting zero CO2 or harmful substances”, said the company in its official press release.
The brand new Toyota FCV Rally Car is coming with a white exterior finish, with blue, silver and black graphics, with lightweight alloy wheels and with mud flaps. We are not sure what its specifications are, but we do know that the standard version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 10 seconds and that it can have a range of 482 km (300 miles). Refilling it will take less than 5 minutes. More details on the racer will probably be announced during the Shinshiro Rally, on the 1st of November.
