The brand new Toyota FT-1 Concept is now available in the virtual world, as downloadable content, in Gran Turismo 6, on PlayStation 4.
After it was officially unveiled during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, just a few days ago, the new Toyota FT-1 Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its debut in the virtual world, as downloadable content, on PlayStation 4’s Gran Turismo 6.
“The design team at Calty developed a stunning concept car and we were honored to work with them to render the car digitally for the concept presentation. The FT-1 is a forward-looking, technically advanced and beautiful concept car. We can’t wait to see fans’ reactions as they drive the vehicle and get to know it the way I was able to”, said Kazunori Yamauchi, the Polyphony Digital president.
According to the creators of the video game, the Toyota FT-1 Concept is free in GranTurismo 6 if you managed to receive a bronze or better in the FT-1 challenge at Laguna Seca. In terms of design, the vehicle in question looks more than OK and its lines are believed to offer a first preview of the upcoming Supra successor. This hasn’t been confirmed by the Japanese based automaker just yet.
