Toyota has released an image showing a concept car aimed towards Gran Turismo 6 and this may be offering a preview of the Supra successor.
The development of a Toyota Supra successor is nothing new as such a model has been rumored for approximately 2 years but it seems that with time passing by, the Japanese based automaker can’t just let it go. A recent concept car, created especially for the Gran Turismo 6 video game, is showing the silhouette of what may become the successor of the Toyota Supra. We’re not sure whether this will be transformed into a production car but one thing is for sure, it will be worth the wait.
Recent reports are saying that the successor of the Toyota Supra will be officially presented to the public, in a concept form, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model in question should sit above the current GT 86 in terms of performance, materials quality and price and the final production version is said to make its way onto the market sometimes in 2017. This is said to come with a 2.5 liter four-cylinder unit backed up by an electric motor. No extra details on the Supra successor are known for the moment.
