Toyota has released the first pricing details on the recently unveiled GT 86 CS-R3 rally car.
If you are interested in starting a rally team, Toyota has got you covered, with the introduction of the GT 86 CS-R3. The racer has been officially unveiled almost a month ago and it currently costs 84,000 euros, VAT included. The model in question is complying with the R3 regulations and it has an FIA homologation for the racing seat, harness and roll cage, along with the suspension system, so all you have to do now is find a driver, sponsors and you are good to go.
The Toyota GT 86 CS-R3 has been developed by TMG (Toyota Motorsport GmbH) and it has a 2.0 liter four-cylinder horizontally opposed boxer engine under its hood, which has been rated at 240 – 250 HP (179 – 186 kW), thanks to the modified engine software and the tweaked compression ratio and cam-lift. The racer has also been fitted with the MacPherson front and double wishbone rear suspension system with an HJS racing exhaust and exhaust manifold, a limited slip differential, 15-inch gravel or 17-inch tarmac OZ wheels and more. Customer deliveries of the rally car will begin in the first quarter of 2015.
