Toyota has recently announced its plans to introduce the GT 86 Cup Edition to the Old Continent, where the model will cost 2,860 euros more than the standard sports car.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the Toyota GT 86 Cup Eition is coming with a set of body decals which are being inspired by the racer version and, besides these, the only visual difference is at the wheel level, where the 18-inch OZ ultraleggera lightweight rims are being found, wrapped in the 225/40 Pirelli P Zero Corsa GT tires. The changes don’t stop here and are being carried throughout the cabin too.
The Toyota GT 86 Cup Edition’s interior design has been given the Alcanara treatment for the dashboard and steering wheel, and an individually numbered aluminum plaque, with Cup Edition lettering, has been fitted. Power to the 2013 Toyota GT 86 Cup Edition is being provided by the same 2.0 liter boxer four-cylinder engine, which is still producing a total output of 200 HP. Only 86 units of the model will be produced and each one will be priced at 2,860 euros more than the standard car. Pricing includes two tickets to a VIP customer event at the Nurburgring.
