The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently announced the official safety car for the VLN Endurance Racing Championship, which is the GT 86 Cup Edition.
After being officially unveiled back in March, the Toyota GT 86 Cup Edition is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing that the model is the new VLN Endurance Racing Championship safety car. According to the car manufacturer, the only 86 units of the Toyota GT 86 Cup have been produced and all of the will be sold in Germany.
2,860 EUR will have to be paid over the standard version in order to get the GT 86 Cup, and the model can be had with the Dynamic White Pearl, Racing Red or Furious Black mica colors on the side mirrors, trunk lid, roof and hood. The model is also getting quad exhaust pipes, a front and a rear apron, a rear diffuser, a larger rear spoiler, a carbon fiber strut bar and more. These can be ordered over the standard GT 86. Last but not least, we have to mention the wheels, which are 18-inch in size, OZ Ultraleggera, and they are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa GT tires, 225/40.
