Toyota GT 86 gets tuned by Abflug

Abflug has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the so-called Spiral 86, which is based on the popular Toyota GT 86.

After it was named 2012 Car of the Year by several publications not too long ago, the new Toyota GT 86 is ending up in our news once again, this time with a new upgrade program developed especially for it which has been signed by Abflug. According to the guys at Abflug, the model has been renamed the Spiral 86 and it’s coming with an aggressive body kit which will help the sports car stand out in a crowd.

The new body kit of the Toyota GT 86 is made out of a different front bumper, with more and larger air intakes, by the revised side skirts, by the rear bumper or by the trunk mounted spoiler. The new 19-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires, are completing the looks of the model. Modifications haven’t stopped here and the 2.0 liter boxer engine has also seen some tweaks, with adding the HKS GT supercharger and the sports exhaust system. These modifications are allowing the unit to produce 58 HP (43 kW) and 91 Nm of torque (67 lb-ft) more to a total of 258 HP (190 kW) and 296 Nm (218 lb-ft). The model has also received a HiperMAX IV GT suspension and Dixcel brakes.
