Toyota GT 86 GRMN FR Sports Platinum Concept unveiled

Toyota’s tuning and racing partner Gazoo Racing has recently pulled the wraps off the GT 86 GRMN FR Sports Platinum Concept.

After it was teased not too long ago, the Toyota GT 86 GRMN FR Sports Platinum Concept is ending up in our news once again, this time with the Japanese based automaker pulling the wraps off its body. As you can see from the images posted below, Gazoo Racing has updated and front fascia of the model with new headlights, with a ventilated hood, with a new bumper and with other tweaks. The rear end is also different and it’s getting new taillights, a different bumper, a diffuser, a different boot lid and a large wing.

Wider and vented front and rear fenders have also been added to the model, along with new side skirts and a fresh set of 18-inch alloy wheels, to finish the looks, wrapped in 245/40 and 265/35 tires front to rear. The cabin of the model has received bucket seats with four-point seatbelts, a roll cage, a racing steering wheel and more. The Toyota GT 86 GRMN FR Sports Platinum Concept is also more powerful than the standard version thanks to the combined supercharger and turbocharger and to other tweaks. The engine is now producing 325 HP and it has a peak torque of 431 Nm (318 b-ft). No details on producing a similar version to this one have been announced yet.
