The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently launched its GT 86 sports car in the United Kingdom, where the model has a starting price of 24.995 GBP.
According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota GT 86 will be offered with a choice of larger wheels, a wing on its back or better stereo, but that’s not so important compared to its price, which is hot hatch money for a sports car. Even if the carmaker has announced the official starting price of the Toyota GT 86 in the United Kingdom, details like trim levels or options will be saved for a later time and the sports car is expected to hit the UK dealerships later this year.
As a reminder, the Toyota GT-86 is 4.240 mm long, 1.285 mm tall and 2.570 mm wide, being the most compact four-seat sports car on the market. The weight distribution is 53:47 (front to rear). The model is powered by the Subaru borrowed 2.0 liter four-cylinder with the company’s D-4S direct injection technology, which is sending the 197 HP at 7.000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque (151 lb-ft) at 6.600 rpm to the rear wheels.
On the Japanese local auto market, the Toyota GT 86 will be offered in four trim levels, the Customize Grade, the G, the GT and the GT Limited, and the cheapest version will have a starting price of 25.600 USD, while the most expensive one, the GT Limited, will cost 38.200 USD. The entry-level version is coming, in Japan, with air conditioning and unpainted bumpers, for some racing and customizing purposes, in Japan, while the six-speed automatic transmission, the aluminum pedals, three-spoke steering wheel and the limited-slip differential will be among the extra-cost options.
