The worldwide popular Corolla model has decided to celebrate its 50th anniversary in style and for the milestone Toyota has decided to treat its clients to a special series.
We recently saw the mild facelift operated on the and now Toyota is treating us to more Corolla news as they have decided to reveal the 50th Anniversary Edition that will be available in the United States that comes “to celebrate the love this car earns around the world.” The Corolla 50th Anniversary Edition is starting its life as a regular 2017 Corolla SE, but comes with numerous modifications to be sure owners will be out from the crowd. We can see the 17-inch alloys with dark gray inserts and a machine finish, the modified LED headlights, 50th Anniversary badging, and Smart Key system with push button start.
There are also numerous modifications operated inside the cockpit where Toyota has added black cherry accented dashboard panel and door trim, bespoke floor mats, and black cherry contrast stitching. There’s also a 4.2-inch multi-information driver’s screen and a seven-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment which is paired to the Entune audio and navigation system. The model can be had in Blizzard Pearl, Classic Silver, and Black Cherry hues, with the 2017 Toyota Corolla 50th Anniversary Special Edition reaching US dealerships this fall, and production will be limited to 8,000 units.
