The Japanese automaker isn’t indulging in the assault of new model introductions that are already coming many days ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show, only teasing us to the arrival of the new Land Cruiser and the Hybrid C-HR prototype.
Toyota is following the trend and will be heavily focused on crossovers at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show this month – albeit the two perspectives it wants to share are vastly different. First up will be the fresh compact crossover’s engine range enhancement in the form of the C-HR Hy-Power Concept. For now, the company is keeping all details under wraps and we only see the vehicle’s license plate and lower front end. There might be some modifications compared to the regular C-HR, because the Toyota European Design Center team decided “to emphasize C-HR’s emotional and powerful look, while hinting at future expansion of Toyota’s hybrid powertrain line.”
Now, moving at the very top of the SUV range, Toyota is also getting the all-new generation Land Cruiser to Germany. The company has decided to keep details under tight wrap and only confirmed so far, the off-road prowess won’t be sacrificed because the Landy still comes with a full body-on-frame chassis. The Land Cruiser has already been around for about a decade – so a new model is quite in order.
