Toyota has recently announced several minor changes which have been applied to the European Prius+ for the 2015 model year.
The Toyota Prius+ has been slightly updated on the Old Continent, for the 2015 model year, where the people carrier has received a subtle makeover in the restyled front fascia, where we can find the updated upper front grille, the LED headlights, the trapezoidal lower grille, LED daytime running lights and so on. The model has also received some tweaks made to its rear end to and two fresh exterior paints, the Attitude Black mica and the Dark Sherry metallic.
The cabin of the popular vehicle is coming with the 4.2 inch TFT display, with chrome door handles and center console air vents, steering wheel mounted buttons and so on. The handing of the vehicle is said to have been improved, along with the ride and the exterior noise and vibrations, while the hybrid powertrain is meeting the Euro 6 emission standards. Power is still coming from the same 1.8 liter four-cylinder unit, with 99 HP, backed up by the 81 HP electric motor and lithium ion battery pack. The total output produced stands at 136 HP (100 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration made in 11.3 seconds and a top speed of 165 km/h (102 mph).
