Toyota pulls the plug on the Tacoma X-Runner image

The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently decided to discontinue the Tacoma X-Runner for the upcoming 2014 model year, but the company will still offer the SR Package and the Double Cab base grades.

Bad news for those of you who were looking into the updates available for the 2014 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner, because the model in question has been recently discontinued. The decision has been taken 8 years after the pickup truck has been introduced and the announcement has been made officially. However, Toyota will still offer the SR Package for the 4×4 Access and Pre-Runner and Double Cab base grades for people looking for a pickup with a sporty look.

The car manufacturer says that the 2014 Tacoma can now get black 16-inch alloy wheels and smoked headlamps, which should be enough to set it apart from other versions. The body of the pickup truck can be finished in either Blue Ribbon Metallic or Silver Sky Metallic. The cabin of the model can get various Entune Audio systems, including the Premium JBL Audio setup and the backup monitor image has been moved to headunit, from the inner mirror. Changes for the 2014 Toyota Tacoma will stop here.
