Toyota has officially pulled the wraps off the facelifted version of the RAV4 at the 2015 New York Auto Show.
The Toyota RAV4, in its current generation, may not be around for that much time but that isn’t stopping the carmaker to present a facelifted version of it. The model in question is looking instantly recognizable with its new front fascia, with the smaller headlights, slender grille, new rear bumper, revised rocker panels, new lift gate, silver skid plates on the higher end versions, revised color palette or different wheel choices.
Toyota says that the SE version is also bringing the revised front grille, along with the LED headlights and taillights, the 18-inch alloy wheels and the sport tuned suspension system. The cabin of it has received the black headliner, the SofTex Seats, the gunmetal trim, the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, the unique instrument cluster with red pointers and several other goodies.
The interior design of the 2016 Toyota RAV4 is also coming with the new shifter, the higher quality materials, the soft touch plastics, the improved cup holders, the sunglass holder, the revised instrument cluster, the additional USB and 12V outlets, 4.2-inch TFT multi information display in the revised gauge cluster, the 7-inch touch sensitive display audio touch screen, revised cup holder design, new sunglasses holder, leather wrapped steering wheel, except for the LE, the Bird’s Eye Monitor and so on. The updated version of the Toyota RAV4 is expected in dealerships over the next few months. No pricing details have been announced yet.
